Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Christian Lions vs. Brook Hill Guard

The Trinity Christian Lions will head out to take on the Brook Hill Guard at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Trinity Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Everything went their way against Fort Worth Christian on Monday as Trinity Christian made off with a 63-39 win. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, Brook Hill entered their tilt with First Baptist on Tuesday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. They strolled past the Saints with points to spare, taking the game 56-38. Given the Guard's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 197th, while the Saints are ranked 430th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Trinity Christian pushed their record up to 13-20 with the win, which was their third straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26 points. As for Brook Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 33-6.

Trinity Christian and Brook Hill were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, but Trinity Christian came up empty-handed after a 54-53 loss. Can Trinity Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
