La Porte's loss ends three-game winning streak at home

The La Porte Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 57-41 bruising from Manvel. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for La Porte in their matchups with Manvel: they've now lost three in a row.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gian Guardiola, who scored ten points. Mason Bell was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven assists.
La Porte's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-10. As for Manvel, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-14.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Ball the next time they take the court. Manvel will host Ball at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while La Porte will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
