Volleyball Recap: Tussey Mountain Takes a Loss

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Tussey Mountain and Claysburg-Kimmel have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Titans lost 3-0 to the Bulldogs. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Titans have suffered against the Bulldogs since October 21, 2021.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-21, 25-17.

Among those leading the charge was Grayce Douglas, who had ten digs.

Tussey Mountain dropped their record down to 3-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Claysburg-Kimmel, their victory bumped their record up to 6-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Tussey Mountain will face off against Northern Bedford County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Claysburg-Kimmel, they will square off against Moshannon Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
