Football Recap: Coral Reef Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Coral Reef's offense. They had to suffer through a 27-0 loss at the hands of the Ferguson Falcons. The loss continues a trend for the Barracudas in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost six in a row.

Arianna Madsen was a one-woman wrecking crew For Ferguson. as she threw for 175 yards and four TDs while completing 83.9% of her passes. Those four passing touchdowns gave Madsen a new career-high.

Coral Reef's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Ferguson, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Coral Reef has already played their next match, a 7-0 loss against Goleman on the 3rd. As for Ferguson, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 31-0 win against Coral Gables on the 2nd.
