Football Preview: University City Centurions vs. Morse Tigers
The University City Centurions's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Morse Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. University City knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 31 point or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Morse likes a good challenge.

Quentyn DeMara was a one-man wrecking crew for University City as he threw for 372 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 16.9 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries. DeMara is crushing it when it comes to passing touchdowns: he's passed for at least three every time he's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Deshaun Hille, who rushed for 86 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries.
He was just one part of a punishing run game: University City was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 250 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since was before the start of last season.
Meanwhile, Morse fell victim to West Hills and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a 7-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wolf Pack. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
University City's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Morse, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Everything went University City's way against Morse in their previous matchup back in October of 2022 as University City made off with a 38-14 win. Will University City repeat their success, or does Morse have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
