Basketball Recap: Richmond Comes Up Short

Richmond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 32-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Summit Christian Academy Eagles. The matchup marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Richmond's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Summit Christian Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.

Richmond will take on Holden in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Summit Christian Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Hogan Prep Charter at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
