Basketball Recap: Jim Hill Takes a Loss

Jim Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 56-47 to the West Jones Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 117th, while the Mustangs are ranked 28th).

Jim Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for West Jones, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Jim Hill has already played their next contest (against Pearl River Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. West Jones has already played their next game, a 49-42 loss against Hattiesburg on the 17th.
