The Governor's School for Science & Math Eagles lost against the McBee Panthers back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Governor's School for Science & Math was dealt a 84-26 defeat at the hands of McBee. Governor's School for Science & Math has not had much luck with McBee recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Leading McBee to victory were Jakari Holloman and Tyrek Wright. Holloman scored 22 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Wright scored 22 points along with four steals. Wright is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jasson Brockington, who scored 12 points.
Governor's School for Science & Math's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for McBee, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season.
Governor's School for Science & Math does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for McBee, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Calhoun Falls Charter on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in South Carolina (Calhoun Falls Charter is ranked 195th, while McBee is ranked 180th).
