Volleyball Recap: St. John Has No Trouble Against Badger

St. John won the last time they faced Badger and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Fighting Herald blew past the Braves 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Fighting Herald.

St. John was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-19, 25-19.

Emma Hutchins paced St. John's offense, picking up ten kills. Hutchins got some help from Breelyn Graham and her 11 assists. Hutchins was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Badger lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Maddie Lindus, who had ten digs and three aces. Another player making a difference was Alison Price, who had nine digs, seven kills, and two aces.

St. John's record now sits at 8-2. As for Badger, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. St. John will challenge rival Windham at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Badger is set to take on their familiar foe Mathews at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
