Basketball Recap: Boone Grove Takes a Loss

Boone Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the South Central Satellites 62-20. The Wolves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-12.

South Central got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Samantha Marks out in front who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten boards. Lexi Johnson was another key player, going 5 for 10 on her way to 13 points and seven rebounds.

Boone Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for South Central, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5.

Boone Grove wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 58-34 loss against Washington Township on the 6th. As for South Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 37-34 defeat against Kouts on the 5th.
