James Buchanan had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Littlestown on Wednesday. The James Buchanan Rockets put the hurt on the Littlestown Thunderbolts with a sharp 11-3 victory. For the Rockets, this counts as revenge for the 7-2 win the Thunderbolts walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2021.

The team relied heavily on Bryson Bennett, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jimmy Bell, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

James Buchanan always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .528. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Littlestown only posted an OBP of .276.

James Buchanan's record is now 2-0. As for Littlestown, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2-1.
