Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Comes Up Short

Trinity Christian lost against LaGrange back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Trinity Christian Lions were dealt an 83-51 loss at the hands of the LaGrange Grangers. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 430th, while the Grangers are ranked 165th).

Trinity Christian lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Drew Harvey, who went 5 of 9 on his way to 12 points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave Harvey a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Wallace, who posted nine points and seven boards.

Trinity Christian dropped their record down to 2-20 with the defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road. As for LaGrange, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-9.

As of now, neither Trinity Christian nor LaGrange have any future games scheduled.
