Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask White Cloud). They came out on top against the Mason County Eastern Cardinals by a score of 14-10 on Wednesday. With that win, the Indians brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Ayden Hensley made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because White Cloud is 3-1 when he allows at most two earned runs, but 1-5 otherwise. Hensley was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI. That hit marked the first that he has got this season.

In other batting news, Brady Strait was incredible, going 1-for-4 with five stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 1.3 stolen bases per game. Steven Zook was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for White Cloud and bumps their season record up to 4-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Mason County Eastern, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.
