Softball Game Preview: Quitman Panthers vs. Southeast Lauderdale Tigers

The Quitman Panthers will take on the Southeast Lauderdale Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses apiece.

It was a proper cat-fight when Quitman took on Meridian on Saturday. The Panthers came up short against the Wildcats, falling 15-4. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by exactly 11 runs.

Meanwhile, Southeast Lauderdale lost 11-2 to Newton County on Monday.

Southeast Lauderdale saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mary Grace Hall, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Quitman's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Southeast Lauderdale, their loss dropped their record down to 7-17.

Quitman couldn't quite get it done against Southeast Lauderdale in their previous matchup two weeks ago as they fell 14-9. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
