Brennan Maez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Alamosa is 4-1 when Maez posts two or more runs, but 5-7 otherwise. Jo David also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Alamosa's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-8. As for Montezuma-Cortez, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.
