Basketball Recap: Evans Comes Up Short

Evans was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 73-54 to the Horse Creek Academy Stallions. The contest marked the Knights' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Evans' loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Horse Creek Academy, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-0.

Looking ahead, Evans will be home for the holidays to greet Lincoln County at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Horse Creek Academy, they will be taking part in a tournament against James F. Byrnes at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
