            Softball Recap: Deep Run Wildcats vs. Glen Allen Jaguars        
        
		
        
        
            Deep Run dropped their record down to 8-6 on Friday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They came up short against  the Glen Allen Jaguars, falling  7-0. Surprisingly, this marked the Wildcats' sixth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.
 Deep Run saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Braelyn Baulsir, who  went 1-for-4 with one  stolen base.

On Glen Allen's side,  not much got past  Jaidyn Tillman, who gave up just  three  hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep Deep Run off the board. Tillman has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than eight  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
 At the plate,  Ashton Limbach and  Alison Via did most of the damage at the plate:  Limbach  got on base  in two of her three plate appearances with two  stolen bases and two  runs, while  Via  went 2-for-3 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI. Those  two  stolen bases gave  Limbach a new career-high.  Kenzie Hueston was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 Coming up, Deep Run will take on Highland Springs at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Glen Allen, they will square off against Dinwiddie at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. The Generals will roll in looking for their  11th straight  victory, something the Jaguars surely won't give up without a fight.
