Adams Central and Woodlan squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Adams Central had to settle for second. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 44-43 to the Woodlan Warriors. The Flying Jets' defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Trey Yoder continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Woodlan, dropping a double-double with 20 points and 11 boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which Yoder has scored at least a third of Woodlan's points. Another player making a difference was Mason Moore, who posted five points and nine rebounds.

Adams Central's loss dropped their record down to 15-8. As for Woodlan, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-7.
