Basketball Recap: Albert Lea Takes a Loss

Albert Lea managed to keep up with Faribault until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Albert Lea Tigers lost 86-61 to the Faribault Falcons. The loss continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now lost four in a row.

Albert Lea's defeat dropped their record down to 4-19. As for Faribault, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Albert Lea will take on Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Faribault, they will challenge Owatonna at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Faribault's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine matches.
