There's no place like home for Nottoway, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 33-6 win over the Colonial Heights Colonials. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 42-6 loss the last time these two teams met.

Anton Carter Jr. had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 125 yards and two TDs. Nottoway also got a significant boost from Daveon Pettis, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 101 yards.

Nottoway now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Colonial Heights, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nottoway will take on Brunswick at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Colonial Heights, they will face off against Southampton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
