Basketball Game Preview: North Valley Baptist Bulldogs vs. Summit Shasta Black Bears

North Valley Baptist is on a nine-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Summit Shasta is on a seven-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The North Valley Baptist Bulldogs will host the Summit Shasta Black Bears at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

North Valley Baptist is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat El Primero 88-29. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 26 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Summit Shasta beat Los Altos 56-51 on Saturday.

Summit Shasta is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.1 points over those games. As for North Valley Baptist, their win bumped their record up to 13-1.
