Baseball Recap: Auburn Riverside Takes a Loss

After flying high against Auburn Mountainview last Friday, Auburn Riverside came back down to earth. Auburn Riverside came up short against the Tahoma Bears on Tuesday, falling 8-1. The matchup marked the Ravens' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Auburn Riverside saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dane Tomlinson, who went 1-for-2 with one double. Braydon Rudolph also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.

Auburn Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Tahoma, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

While Auburn Riverside had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
