Basketball Recap: Richardson Skates Past Berkner with Ease

Richardson waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Berkner Rams, posting a 55-27 win. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 207th, while the Rams are ranked 762nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Richardson pushed their record up to 17-11 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.2 points per game. As for Berkner, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-11.

Coincidentally, Richardson and Berkner will both be playing Nimitz the next time they take the court. Berkner will head out to face Nimitz at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Richardson will host them at 7:00 p.m. on January 21st.
