Basketball Game Preview: Fairless Falcons vs. Orrville Red Riders

The Fairless Falcons will venture away from home to square off against the Orrville Red Riders at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Fairless has now lost 15 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 17.

Fairless lost 91-65 to Northwest on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 782nd, while the Indians are ranked 177th).

Meanwhile, Orrville ended up a good deal behind Columbia on Tuesday and lost 70-52. The Red Riders haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Fairless' loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Orrville, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.

Fairless was dealt a bruising 72-36 loss at the hands of Orrville in their previous matchup back in January. Can Fairless avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
