Basketball Recap: Salina Takes a Loss

Salina was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a blow against the Jay Bulldogs, falling 59-27. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-33 back in January.

Salina's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Jay, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-10.

Looking ahead, Salina will be playing in front of their home fans against Sequoyah at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Salina is facing Sequoyah at the right time seeing as Sequoyah is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Jay, they will square off against Commerce at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Commerce will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Jay surely won't give up without a fight.
