After a string of three wins, St. Mary's Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell 63-51 to the St. Vincent de Paul Academy Hawks. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Crusaders came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 161st, while the Hawks are ranked 522nd).

St. Mary's Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-14. As for St. Vincent de Paul Academy, they pushed their record up to 9-10 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, St. Mary's Academy is taking a road trip to take on Wichita HomeSchool at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. St. Vincent de Paul Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
