Baseball Game Preview: Franklin Quakers vs. Jefferson Raiders

The Franklin Quakers are taking a road trip to square off against the Jefferson Raiders at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Franklin played against Ingraham on Friday and lost via forfeit.

Jefferson came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Capital, falling 12-1.

Myles Myers made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 1.1 stolen bases per game.

Jefferson has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season. As for Franklin, they moved to 4-8 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
