Soccer Recap: Germantown Academy Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Germantown Academy was not quite Episcopal Academy's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Churchmen by a score of 1-0. Considering the last time Germantown Academy couldn't score was back in August, the team can't take the result too hard.

Germantown Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4-3 record this season. As for Episcopal Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Germantown Academy will take on rival Haverford School at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Episcopal Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Malvern Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
