Bullard waltzed into their game on Monday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They walked away with a 9-4 win over the Highland Scots. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Scots, too.

Bullard's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-5. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Highland, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-5-2 record this season.

Bullard will take on Clovis West in a tournament on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Knights 3.6, the Golden Eagles 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Highland, they will head out on the road to square off against Clovis at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
