Baseball Recap: Neptune Comes Up Short

Neptune managed to slip by Lacey Township the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Scarlet Fliers came up short against the Lions on Monday, falling 14-0. The Scarlet Fliers just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row.

Neptune's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Lacey Township, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Neptune will take on Pinelands Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lacey Township, they will square off against Point Pleasant Boro at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
