Basketball Recap: Moline Wins Going Away Against Kaneland

Moline had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They enjoyed a cozy 54-35 win over the Kaneland Knights on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Maroons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Aniya M Dixon was the offensive standout of the contest as she posted 18 points. Another player making a difference was Adalynn Voss, who put up 11 points.

Coincidentally, Moline and Kaneland will both be playing Prairie Ridge the next time they take the court. The Knights will head out to face the Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Maroons will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
