Baseball Recap: Belmont's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

After flying high against Thurgood Marshall last Wednesday, Belmont came back down to earth. The Bison came up short against the Kenton Ridge Cougars on Friday, falling 20-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Bison were not able to get on the board.

Belmont moved to 9-2 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak. As for Kenton Ridge, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 19-3.

Belmont does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kenton Ridge, they will welcome Franklin at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
