Baseball Game Preview: Concrete Lions vs. Friday Harbor Wolverines

Concrete hasn't had much luck against Friday Harbor recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Lions will face off against the Wolverines at 4:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

On Thursday, Concrete came up short against Coupeville and fell 9-6.

Sultan hit Friday Harbor with a six-run third inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Wolverines came up short against the Turks, falling 10-0. The loss continues a trend for the Wolverines in their meetings with the Turks: they've now lost three in a row.

Friday Harbor saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joseph Holt, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Friday Harbor's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Concrete, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Concrete suffered a grim 13-0 defeat to Friday Harbor when the teams last played back in May of 2025. Can the Lions avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
