Volleyball Recap: Cedar Creek Comes Up Short

Cedar Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Davenport Wolves.

Davenport was led to victory by Katie Falcone and Dakota Hart. Falcone had seven assists and six digs, while Hart had six digs. Those seven assists gave Falcone a new career-high. Grace Harcrow also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Cedar Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Davenport, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Cedar Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Rudder on the 22nd. As for Davenport, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Alvin on the 21st.
