Volleyball Recap: Upsala Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Upsala took on Ogilvie on Saturday. The Cardinals fell 2-0 to the Lions. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Zoey Leners paced Upsala's offense, picking up six kills. Leners got some help from Sierra Bense and her eight assists. Finally, Leners was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Upsala's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Ogilvie, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Upsala will take on Holdingford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ogilvie has already played their next matchup (against Long Prairie-Grey Eagle), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
