Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jerome). Their defense stepped up to hand the Minico Spartans a 10-0 shutout on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Jerome and bumps their season record up to 6-2-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those two matchups. As for Minico, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Jerome will head out to face off against Wood River at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Minico, they will venture away from home to square off against Burley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Burley's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
