Football Game Preview: Whitewater Whippets vs. Jefferson Eagles

Whitewater is 0-9 against Jefferson since September of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Whippets will square off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Whitewater and East Troy had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Whippets lost 21-0 to the Trojans on Friday. The game marked the first time this year in which the Whippets were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Jefferson came up short against Edgerton on Friday and fell 34-21.

The loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 3-3. As for Whitewater, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Whitewater took a serious blow against Jefferson in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 48-12. Can the Whippets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
