Recap: East Ridge Knights vs. Olympia Titans
The East Ridge Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They came out on top against Olympia by a score of 64-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Hailey Hunt continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 29 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tychelle Gordon, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 19 rebounds.
Olympia lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Arlinda Roundtree, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 16 rebounds. Roundtree hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. Ava Pazos was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
The win makes it two in a row for East Ridge and bumps their season record up to 7-8. As for Olympia, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Ridge will take on Tavares at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Olympia, they will play host again and welcome Poinciana, where tip off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
