Baseball Game Preview: Sealy Tigers vs. Royal Falcons

For the second straight game, Sealy will face off against Royal. The Tigers will welcome the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Sealy has three straight victories, Royal has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Sealy is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 23-1 margin over Royal on Tuesday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Tigers with their most commanding win of the season.

Hagen Anderson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Anderson was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.

In other batting news, Tate Anderson was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Jackson Blanks was another key player, scoring three runs while going 2-for-3.

Sealy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .622. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Royal only posted an OBP of .333.

Royal's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7-1. As for Sealy, their win bumped their record up to 9-11.
