Football Recap: Bruni Takes a Loss

The Bruni Badgers lost to the Arlington Heights Christian Lions on the road by a 32-14 margin on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Badgers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 837th, while the Lions are ranked 153rd).

Bruni's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Arlington Heights Christian, their record now sits at 5-1.

Looking ahead, Bruni will face off against Victoria Cobra HomeSchool at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Badgers will be up against the Cobra's rather soft defense (which has allowed 44.5 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Arlington Heights Christian, they will take on Jubilee Brownsville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Titans have now posted at least 31 points in their last five matchups.
