Basketball Recap: Spooner Takes a Loss

Spooner lost against Ladysmith back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Spooner Rails fell 73-64 to the Ladysmith Lumberjacks. The Rails have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Spooner now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Ladysmith, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Spooner will take on Cameron in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Cameron's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Ladysmith and McDonell Central will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
