Basketball Recap: Northwestern Takes a Loss

Northwestern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 79-57 to the Dalton Bulldogs. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 789th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 322nd).

Northwestern's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Dalton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwestern will welcome Mansfield Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 14th. As for Dalton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rittman at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Dalton has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
