Volleyball Recap: West Morgan Rebels vs. St. John Paul II Falcons

After a string of six wins, West Morgan's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the St. John Paul II Falcons by a score of 2-1. The Rebels were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September.

West Morgan actually scored more points across those three sets (55-53), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 13-25, 15-12.

West Morgan's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 33-8. As for St. John Paul II, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-15.

West Morgan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against East Lawrence on the 7th. As for St. John Paul II, they are on the road again on Tuesday to play Madison Academy at 4:30 p.m.
