Volleyball Game Preview: Chiefland Indians vs. Hawthorne Hornets + How To Watch

The Chiefland Indians will take on the Hawthorne Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Thursday, Chiefland didn't have quite enough to beat P.K. Yonge and fell 3-2.

Chiefland couldn't get the win, but they sure gave P.K. Yonge a tough time in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 31-29, 23-25, 25-18, 15-12.

Meanwhile, Hawthorne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 27th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against Eastside, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-19, 25-13.

Chiefland now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Hawthorne, their loss dropped their record down to 0-23.
