Baseball Recap: Tomales Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Tomales hadn't done well against Technology recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Braves walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Titans. The win was some much needed relief for the Braves as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Uli Romo, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Alex Lopez also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Tomales' victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 4-7. As for Technology, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
