            The Cotopaxi Pirates will take on the Center Vikings at 8:00  p.m.  on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Cotopaxi has four straight  wins, Center has three straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
Cotopaxi is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have   all season. They blew past Moffat 70-26  on Thursday. The  matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  46-10.

It was another big night for  Terrance Evans, who  went 12 of 15  en route to 27 points along with eight  boards and eight  steals. His evening made it four games in a row in which  he has scored at least 20 points. Another player making a difference was  Joel Tezak, who  went 6 for 12  to rack up 17  points and seven  rebounds.
 Cotopaxi was working as a unit and  finished the game with 16  assists. That's the most  assists they've managed all season.
 Meanwhile, Center came up short against Del Norte on Friday and fell  42-33.
 Cotopaxi's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Center, their  defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 10-7.
 Cotopaxi strolled past Center when the teams last played  back in February of 2024 by a score of  58-43. Will Cotopaxi repeat their success,  or does  Center have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
