Basketball Game Preview: Bainbridge Bearcats vs. Dougherty Trojans

The Bainbridge Bearcats will square off against the Dougherty Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bainbridge is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Last Saturday, Bainbridge ended up a good deal behind Colquitt County and lost 54-37. While losing is never fun, the Bearcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 171st, while the Packers are ranked 32nd).

Meanwhile, Dougherty unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 33-32 to Westover. The game marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Bainbridge's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Dougherty, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 10-9.
