Zionsville extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Maguire Mitchell. The Zionsville Eagles took down the South Bend St. Joseph Huskies 76-61 on Saturday thanks in part to Mitchell, who went 11 for 18 on his way to 28 points in addition to six assists and six boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Zionsville's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Snively, who went 6 of 8 on his way to 15 points along with six assists and six boards. Those six assists gave him a new career-high.

Several Huskies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Elijah King, who went 11 of 18 en route to 21 points. With that strong performance, King is now averaging an impressive 15.4 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Brashaun Woods, who went 6 of 8 on his way to 12 points.

Zionsville is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for South Bend St. Joseph, they moved to 9-1 with that loss, which also ended their nine-game winning streak.

Zionsville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 77-68 defeat against Plainfield on the 4th. As for South Bend St. Joseph, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 77-42 win against Jimtown on the 7th.
