Basketball Game Preview: Miller Career Academy vs. Clay County Tigers

Miller Career Academy and the Clay County Tigers will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Last Friday, Miller Career Academy ended up a good deal behind Mt. Vernon and lost 59-42.

Meanwhile, Clay County had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They came out on top against the Generals by a score of 70-58. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while the Generals are ranked 191st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Miller Career Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Clay County, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.
