Softball Recap: Red Wing Comes Up Short

Red Wing lost to Winona back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wingers came up short against the Hawks, falling 9-3. The Wingers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Red Wing suffered their first road loss, dropping their record down to 4-4. As for Winona, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Red Wing didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-5 victory against Pine Island on the 30th. As for Winona, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 10-2 win against Albert Lea on the 30th.
